 About Us Miranda Pearson,MA, MSA, MS, LPC, NCC is a licensed public school teacher, counselor, administrator, and ordained minister. Having been in public education since 1996, Miranda has taught English, served as a high school counselor, as well as an Assistant Principal Intern and is currently serving, along with her husband, CEO Robert Lee Pearson, as the Executive Director of Not Just Another Community Center, Inc. Miranda earned her B.S. in English from Radford University, in Radford, VA; MA in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Baptist Seminary, in Camilla, GA; MSA in School Administration, and a MS in Counselor Education, both from East Carolina University, in Greenville, NC. She is currently a doctoral learner in the field of Human Services, with Capella University, with a specialization in Counseling Studies and a doctoral learner in Ministry at Andersonville Baptist Seminary, as well completing a specialized certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Contemporary Theory of Addictive Behavior. Robert L. Pearson is a NC CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor) Intern and is available to co-facilitate Substance Abuse group therapy. Robert is a mentor and has a Bachelor's & Master's Degree in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla, GA. He has been working with adjudicated youth for almost 8 years. Through business and community service outreach, Robert, along with "Standing in the Gap Mentoring", offers Restorative Justice opportunities for those who have misdemeanors and felonies on their record(s).
